Official Description

Physics of polymer systems. Equilibrium conformation, structure, properties and phase transitions of polymer solutions, dense melts, liquid crystals, mixtures, block copolymers, surfaces and interfaces, gels and rubbers, biopolymers, and electronic polymers. Course Information: Same as CHEM 482. 3 undergraduate hours. 3 or 4 graduate hours. Prerequisite: MSE 401.
