Outreach
Outreach
MatSE at Illinois aims to inspire the next generation of materials scientists and engineers with outreach activities for middle and high schoolers and teachers. Tenth through 12th-graders are welcome to join our GEMS (Gender Equity in Materials Science) Camp while 7th- through 9th-graders may attend our Mid-GLAM (Girls Learning About Materials Science) Camp to explore the materials all around us while enhancing their STEM knowledge. Teachers won't want to miss our annual ASM Materials Camp for Teachers, where they can learn the latest and greatest in materials science and engineering and learn how to incorporate it into their classrooms. Explore which camp best serves you or your kiddo.
