Grad students receive Racheff-Intel Awards

Jiong Zhang, Ph.D. student in Jim Zuo's group; Hunter McDaniel, Ph.D. student in Moonsub Shim's group; Liang Hu, Ph.D. student in Les Allen's group; and Wenjun Cai, Ph.D. student in Pascal Bellon's group received 2010 Racheff-Intel Awards for outstanding graduate research in Materials Science and Engineering. Winners receive a plaque and up to $1,000 in travel funds to present their research at a scientific conference in the next 18 months. The top winner (Jiong Zhang) also received a cash payment of $1,500 which can be used to purchase a computer.
