Nhon Vo received the Gold Award from the Materials Research Society during the society's fall meeting in Boston. MRS Graduate Student Awards are intended to honor and encourage graduate students whose academic achievements and current materials research display a high level of excellence and distinction. Vo is co-advised by Robert Averback and Pascal Bellon. The title of his presentation was "Nanocrystalline Materials in Extreme Conditions."
