Explore your home away from home! Come see what life as a MatSE at Illinois undergraduate is like at an upcoming Explore Grainger Engineering event.

Register for the Explore Grainger Engineering Chicago event held Saturday, April 2, from 10 a.m. until noon at the Tinely Park Convention Center in Tinely Park, Ill. Here you’ll have the opportunity to learn all about MatSE at Illinois and all of The Grainger College of Engineering’s majors, meet academic advisors, connect with current students and some of our college resources offices, and go home with Grainger Engineering swag.

Come meet our MatSE at Illinois family Friday, April 8, from 11 a.m. to noon at the Why Major in Engineering event, held at the Campus Instructional Facility at the U of I in Urbana, Ill., and visit your future home away from home. Our Grainger College of Engineering’s recruitment team will share academic and co-curricular opportunities. You’ll also get the play by play on our admission process for prospective students and enrollment process for admitted students. They’ll also host a time for questions and answers.

After lunch, you’ll get a tour of Grainger College of Engineering’s buildings and quads. You’ll then explore our Engineering Open House, where students from every discipline of engineering set up exhibits to remind us of the role that science plays in our everyday lives. They inspire the next generation of Grainger Engineers by showing the difference that technology will make in the future.
