Five MatSE faculty, including Qian Chen, Axel Hoffmann, Pinshane Huang, Cecilia Leal and Daniel Shoemaker, will be recognized for their investiture at the Engineering Investiture Ceremony Monday, Dec. 12, at 4 p.m. at the Beckman Institute, Room 1025.

URBANA — Five MatSE faculty, including Qian Chen, Axel Hoffmann, Pinshane Huang, Cecilia Leal and Daniel Shoemaker, will be recognized for their investiture at the Engineering Investiture Ceremony held Monday, Dec. 12, at 4 p.m. at the Beckman Institute, Room 1025. A reception will immediately follow in the Beckman Atrium.
Hoffmann is being recognized as the Founder Professor in Materials Science and Engineering, and Chen, Huang, Leal and Schoemaker are being honored as Ivan Racheff Faculty scholars. On behalf of their academic achievements, all invested faculty will receive a medallion during the ceremony.
All are welcomed to join in celebrating the MatSE faculty members’ distinguished achievements.
